L.L. Bean Model Train Village Christmas 2022

 The Model Train Village has been part of the Northern Lights celebration at L.L. Bean for several years. The full program can be seen at the Northern Lights Web Page.  Trains run 9am-9pm from November 15 through January 1.

It is located in the Camping Department and can be seen from both inside and outside the store.

Model Train Village and window to downtown Freeport

It has three trains that run on timers along with lights, skating rinks, a model of the L.L. Bean Store in the 1930s-1940s, and a model of the Freeport Train Station which is now at Boothbay Railway Village. The Maine3Railers O-Gauge Model Railroad Club built and operates this layout.

Westbrook Festival of Trees Part 2

This post includes pictures of the rest of the decorated trees at the Westbrook Festival of  Trees,https://www.westbrookfestivaloftrees.com/. The festival is sponsored by and held at the Westbrook-Warren Congregational Church at 810 Main Street in Westbrook.

The trees are donated by Westbrook businesses and decorated by local charitable organizations. Admission is free. All donations and proceeds go to the Westbrook Food Pantry

 

Maine Garden Railway Society Holiday Train Display at the Maine Mall

 The Holiday Train  Display at the Maine Mall is sponsored by the Maine Garden Railway Society.Trains will be running daily from 10am-7pm through December 24th.  The Display is located in the lobby outside the JC Penney store.
