Yes, they did arrive!
*** It was great, the long walk down to the mail box and then at a distance I see this package in a bag hung from the mail box. Yes, the Gandy Dancers arrived. They are very nice, I love them. A large array of what looks like authentic tools that they used. So, I got out my old (I think it is Hartland Engine) because it is noisy and celebrated their arrival!
Video Clip I also added a quieter clip.

JTO,
Gandy Dancer looks GREAT. Sorry that the Video player is down. I'll look at it tomorrow...
Christmas in June!
Gotta love it!
They look good!
I hope they are all you hoped they would be.
"John the Elder"!
Tell me!
In all your latest "Gandy Dancer" pictures, why is the Guy in grey always standing up-right and the guy in Brown always bent over? Since they move, you'd think you would catch them in a different pose from one picture to another?
Just another one of those Curiosity questions.
Ray,
I think I like "John the Elder" better than "John the Older".
Ed,
I think that John the Older is more accurate - but I would be willing to accept John the Elder, if that is what John prefers.
Of course, he might not like either one, since he has been unusually mum on this subject. And we all know that John the [Older or Elder] is not generally at a loss of words or topics to 'blog about'...
Yes maybe we need John (The Older / Elder) to decide which one he would like RATHER than "Blog Hog"!
I was originally trying to differentiate between him and "His Younger" when I commented on something earlier. It wasn't meant as a SLAM!
To answers your questions, the man in the grey suit is older (and wiser) The man in the brown suit is showing respect, a courtesy apparently lost in today culture.
Oh Rats, I spoiled my comment, because I was signed in under 'member' That happens when I am in Gmail (looking at mgrsmember) and then task over to the blog site.
But you guys get the idea! :)
SO! Ray,
"Member" is trying to tell us something?
Just who is this "Member" person anyway?
Talk about courtesy!
