A record turnout of 29 seniors from the Gorham House came to visit the Overlook Garden Railway this afternoon. Pat and Carl have spent countless hours preparing the garden railroad and the trail system for this season's visitors, and the place looks spectacular. The visitors from Gorham House had great stories to tell about growing up in Maine, including several whose fathers had worked on Maine's railroad system.
Pat and Carl were assisted by MGRS members Walter Fossett, Jr., Mac McLaughlin, Paul Corbett, and Scott Gould. Watch the blog for upcoming dates when you can also volunteer. You'll be glad you did.
