I always wanted to do the auto road....the last time I was at the summit of Mt. Washington was following a technical ice climb up Pinacle Gully in Huntington's Ravine. Hiked to the summit after toping out on the route and the temp was nine above zero with steady 40 to 50 mile per hour winds, gusting to 102 mph. Wind chill was off the charts.....it only went to minus 105! Saw this tour bus coming up while I was there. My next trip will likely be in the summer!
