Open House Held at the A&J Railroad on July 28-29

Jim Jenkins held an open house at his A&J Railway in Gray on July 28 and 29.  The A&J has two main lines with sidings and a trolley line with stops in its Upper and Lower Village.

The main lines rise from beside the pond through switchback curves around the lumber mill and lower village.

On the east side they pass coal car storage yard.

Then the tracks enter a long, covered tunnel just past the Control Station, which has a two line Bridgewerks transformer for the Main Line and a separate transformer to run the Trolley Line.
