At last I got to run my trains (not Thomas and Trolly) but mine own. I think I will just enjoy them for a while. That is, before I try to connect the indoors to the outdoor. This year I will be happy to pack them up and bring them to an open house.

John,
Very nice passenger train - in a beautifully sun drenched layout! What are the markings on your engine?
later,
Ray
Ray, Its is B&M 4227 and I have its companion F3 #4228. They both smoke good, which made me happy. I think it was Ed tip about using citronella. It works great!
Yes the sunshine was wonderful, although you may have just got thunderstorm.
Thanks, John
I first heard of using citronella in the smoke units from the 'Deere's'. Does any particular brand work better than others?
I do not know. I shop the high priced stores like Walmart. I know you can buy a jug that should last for years for probably a lot less than smoke fluid.
Hey it looks good
Doug J.
