Just for Ray

Here you go Ray. The answer to your question. (It's just trivia! and I have the answer to this one.) I see the quality of the movie degraded when published here. Sorry Deere's, NO Tractors!!

"The Trolley Returns" , sounds like a movie. Good to see her back in action conquering the elements!

Actually, I do have a serious question. I was wondering how did you attach the trolley to the 'wire'?

I had to drill a hole in catenary eccentric and then I made a loop out of copper wire passed it through the eccentric and soldered the ends together. One end of the monofilament has a snap hook on it. The other end has a swivel hook that I use to thread through the loop on the trolley.

Thanks, that is interesting. I knew they were not made to be attached. I have a trolley and it has a grove at the very top which is like the real ones my dad drove in Boston. This goes way back but I remember him changing the trolley direction at the end of the line and the seats flipped back also.
