You should be able to identify the bridge in the picture in 3 clicks. (If you live in the Portland area).

It looks like the bridge crossing the Androscoggan River in Brunswick. It has a one lane auto road slung below the tracks. stop and look for oncomming traffic before proceeding across!

Click on Cumberland County
You will see the bridge, If you click on its name you will see there are actually 5 pictures, 'pretty interesting' like you describe.
AND YOU DID IT WITHOUT EVEN LOOKING!

I surfed the page for quite a while...didnt study that particular bridge just bounced around.

I looked at Covered Bridges...they list a ton in the mid west...Pennsylvania, Ohio, Iowa etc. I did not see too many of our New England bridges.

I guess not every bridge is listed, the list would go to the moon
