Maine Central Station - Quebec Junction

Railroad - 7 - Maine Central Station - Quebec Junction - 6-29-1933

Tiny sent in this interesting picture which he describes as the MEC line on the left which goes to Whitefield, NH and is open for traffic to Conway, NH.
The rail line on the right goes to a wye near Jefferson, NH and continues straight through to Groveton, NH, and east to Gorham, NH. In the picture, the two rail on the right are still there, but you would never know it today. Trees forty feet high have grown up between the rails! Tiny added that it was to bad he could not have found that sooner, it would have been great for his motorcar.
Thanks again to Denneth 'tiny' Lee for a great picture from the past.

Tiny said he meant it was to bad he quit running his motorcar before he met our MGRS members because he could have taken any of us on the rail to all the places on the MEC Mountain Division, from Redstone, NH to Hazen Crossing in Whitefield, NH a 40 mile trip one way!
Wow, now that was to bad, but we still have tiny and that is good!
