Looking Back and Ahead

 What I mean is I was recently looking back at a picture of the 2011 display.  It looked good!  I call it the year of the trestles.  If you look at the trestles in the bottom part of the picture they curve gently around the double main line.

  If you hold on to that thought and move ahead to this Fall, you will see we our bringing back a long curving trestle that will crisscross over this years double main line!   This year instead of a loop it will be a point to point line.  Our new Bachmann Trolley pictured below is expected to do most of the travelling on the trestle line.  

 

We will need to build some new trestles which will be 15 inches high but that should give us the opportunity to have a workshop where we can get together and help out.   I am sure we can turn the project into a fun activity.    More on this later.
