A Note of Appreciation.....
The following was sent to Carl and Pat Churchill after hosting an Open House for veterans.
Hello to the Churchill Family and Friends,
Sorry I’m so late sending this note. It is always a pleasure for me to bring our Veterans to your beautiful back yard treasure. We were
not able to go as often as we would have liked to this summer. Hopefully next year will work out better. I thought it was great the
way you have us come in now and where we now sit to see the beautiful trains and flower garden. It never ceases to amaze me what
new ideas you have and new additions to the buildings for the trains. It is so great that you invite Veterans and keep our Veterans
occupied during our visits. We thank you so much. It is a highlight of the summer. That back yard atmosphere is the best medicine we
can give our Veterans. Thanks for all you do. We do appreciate it. Till next summer...
